I Want To Watch Embeded FLV Flash Videos On My iPhone 3/3G/4/4S

A friend complained that he tried to watch an embeded flash video and he didn't get anything else than a free space in the page. So... what's the catch?
While every day more and more websites support other technologies besides Flash (like HTML 5 for example), many still rely on Flash exclusively, especially for movies. Naturally, if you own an iPhone, iPad or iPod Touch and you are used to watching Flash movies online, you surely have noticed the lack of Flash support on iOS devices and are probably looking for ways to implement it on your own.
That is why here we’ll show you one simple, yet effective way to watch Flash videos for free on your iOS devices. Even better, you won’t even need to jailbreak your iPhone to do it.

1. Play Flash Videos on Your iPhone, iPod Touch, iPad using 3rd party APPS

To view Flash videos on your iPhone, iPad or iPod Touch, go to the App Store and download the Puffin Web Browser Free application.
Puffin Web Browser Free App Store
As its name clearly says, this is an alternative web browser whose main feature is the ability to display Flash videos. It doesn’t display it natively on the device, but that doesn’t affect its performance at all. In fact, what Puffin Web Browser Free does is to play Flash remotely on the company’s servers and stream it to your iOS device. In their own words:
“The Puffin Browser encapsulates remote Flash technology to enlighten the mobile users to watch Flash videos, play Flash games, and tap into an endless sea of Flash content; all by running Flash on our servers.”
The approach is not only smart (making it completely legal for them to be in the App Store,) it is also consumer friendly, since it will not drain your iPhone’s or iPad’s battery nearly as much as playing native Flash video would.

Testing Puffin Web Browser

To put the app to the test, I used both Safari and Puffin Web Browser Free to load Watch32, a website where you can watch movies and TV series for free and that displays them all using Flash.
Watch 32 website  TV Series Chosen
On Safari, I tapped on a TV series to see if it would play. As you can see from the screenshot below, it wouldn’t even show where the series is supposed to be playing.
Safari Not Playing Flash
Then I did the same on Puffin Web Browser Free. To my surprise, not only did it recognize the content as Flash, but it started playing the series almost immediately. It suffered from a bit of slowdown during the first few seconds, but it quickly started running smoothly.
Puffin Showing Flash  Puffin Playing Flash
As you see, the Puffin Web Browser Free app not only allows you to play Flash videos on your iPhone or other iOS device, it also gives you some nice additional options, like the choice of watching Flash video in full screen or watch it play right on the page as you can see below.
Puffin Playing On Screen
Puffin Full Screen
Now, one last thing to note before we conclude: While Puffin Web Browser Free comes at no cost, it limits its Flash support to 2 weeks. If you really watch a lot of Flash movies, then the $2.99 for the Pro version of the application (which is universal by the way) will be a small and completely worthy investment.
If you would like to keep the app’s Flash support for free though (who wouldn’t you?), Puffin’s developers have come up with a quite original system: You are given free referral codes that you can share with up to 12 friends for them to download Puffin Web Browser Free. Once they do, you will have four extra weeks of free Flash support for each of them.
Puffin Offer
Do you know of other ways to play Flash videos smoothly on your iPhone, iPad or iPod Touch?

2. Watch Flash Videos On iPhone & iPad, No Jailbreak or Apps Required

Most of web video has been optimized to display just fine on iOS devices, but it’s still annoying to open an article from your favorite blog and find out that the author didn’t use Vimeo’s updated embed code compatible with the iPhone and iPad. Vimeo offers a new embed technology to support iOS devices, but it’s not turned on by default. Just like Vimeo, other services such as Flickr, Megavideo and Dailymotion sometimes struggle in offering video embeds capable of being displayed on Apple’s mobile devices.
The Skyfire browser has been making the rounds recently: an iPhone app that can take any Flash video from any web page, and convert it in seconds to an HTML5-based video you can watch on the iPhone. The app is paid though, and perhaps many users don’t need all of its functionalities. Then, some developers even released tweaks and hacks in Cydia to activate Flash on iOS — with very disappointing results, I have to say. Put simply: either you jailbreak your device to sorta gain access to some Flash content on the web, or you buy Skyfire to convert Flash videos. But there’s no easy way built in Mobile Safari to play that Vimeo embed on the iPhone.
This is changing today, thanks to this neat bookmarklet called iOSFlashVideo I found on iSpazio (Italian) and installed on my iPhone and iPad a few minutes ago. With just the tap on the bookmarks bar, you’ll be able to instantly watch videos from Dailymotion, Flickr Video, MegaVideo and Vimeo through the iOS standard media viewer. It’s very simple to install.
- With your iPhone or iPad, open this link: http://iosflashvideo.fw.hu/

- Save the page as a bookmark. To do so, hit the action button in Safari, then “Add Bookmark”

- In Safari, click on the bookmarks icon, then Edit. Click on iOSFlashVideo and delete all the characters before “javascript” in the bookmark. Check the screenshots below.
- That’s it. Every time you’ll stumble upon a web page with broken video embeds on the iPhone and iPad, try to hit the bookmark and see what happens. If that’s a video from the services iOSFlashVideo is currently supporting, it should work fine.

Now you can peacefully watch some p*rn. :)))

[FIX SOLVED] How to Downgrade iPhone 3G/3GS Baseband 06.15.00 to 05.13.04 using RedSnow

iPhone Dev Team has released Redsn0w 0.9.14b1 that allows iPhone 3G / 3GS users to downgrade baseband from 06.15 to 05.13.04.
iPhone 3GS with basebands 04.26.08 / 05.11.07 / 05.12.01 / 05.13.04 can be unlocked using Ultrasn0w. iPhone 3GS with basebands 05.14.02 / 05.15.04 / 05.15.04 / 05.16.01 / 05.16.02 cannot be unlocked with Ultrasn0w so they have to install iPad baseband 6.15.00 on their 3GS device which can be unlocked. That was the whole story.
Now we have seen a lot of iPhone 3GS devices using 6.15.00 baseband to get the unlock. Once they upgrade to this baseband, it cannot be downgraded back to any earlier baseband. Now the question is why would they want to downgrade 6.15.00 as they are enjoying the unlocked devices on it ? Well there are few issues with the iPad baseband installed on the 3GS devices and GPS not working is one of the main issue. This is where the dev team is working right now and looks like they are very close this team for real. They will be able to downgrade 6.15 to baseband 05.13.04 or earlier version which can be unlocked without any issues.
This is what iPhone Dev Team has posted on their blog:
The iPhone Dev Team is happy to announce a baseband downgrade option in redsn0w for those who are using the iPad’s 06.15 baseband on the iPhone3G or iPhone3GS.
Typically you’d have the 06.15 baseband if you unlock with ultrasn0w but updated your iPhone baseband past 05.13.04. With this new capability, you can now downgrade specifically from 06.15 to 05.13.04 (even if you never had 05.13.04 on that device before). This gives you the best of both worlds: ultrasn0w compatibility and a normal iPhone baseband with full GPS and the ability to use stock IPSWs again.
Here are the steps:
  1. Use the “Extras->Select IPSW” button in redsn0w to tell it which firmware version you have installed (new-bootrom 3GS users can usually skip this step but it doesn’t hurt for them to do it too).
  2. Do a controlled shutdown of your iPhone (“slide to power off”). This step is very important to avoid mount problems when the ramdisk is running!
  3. Go back to the first screen and click “Jailbreak”. Enable the “Downgrade from iPad baseband” checkbox, disable Cydia if you already have it installed, and click Next to proceed through the normal DFU ramdisk steps.
After the ramdisk gets launched and you see the Pwnapple running on your iPhone, you’ll eventually get to the “Flashing Baseband” step. THIS STEP TAKES A VERY LONG TIME to complete and there won’t be any feedback while its running. Please just let it be for the next 3-8 minutes! When the ramdisk has done its job it will reboot the phone on its own.
For those who are wondering if you can update your 3G or 3GS to 06.15 solely for the purposes of downgrading to 05.13.04, the answer is “yes” for 3G owners, and “maybe” for 3GS owners. The iPad baseband is not compatible with 3GS units manufactured week 34 of 2011 or later. If you have an iPhone3GS and if digits 3-5 of its Serial Number are 134 or later (xx134…), then you should NOT try to install the 06.15 baseband on your 3GS! It will brick your radio, preventing both the downgrade from working and normal iPhone software from using it as a phone! Be warned!

[ALL TIPS] How to fix iPhone 3 GS White Screen of Death after repair

I had someone bring me an iPhone 3GS they had attempted to take apart (to replace the glass) by prying apart the chrome bezel from the back case. Needless to say, they broke several components in the process. I had to replace the dock connector assembly, the power/headjack/mute-toggle/etc. ribbon cable and vibrate motor. I also replaced the glass digitizer and LCD. When I power it on, I never get the apple logo, and it goes right to a white screen. If I hit the power/lock button it will go black screen. Hit it again and white screen. The mute toggle works (phone will vibrate), and iTunes recognizes the iPhone just fine. Holding home button will bring up voice control. I have tried swiping the digitizer screen to see if I can get some sort of audible response, but no luck. I have tried multiple new LCD and digitizer's, and same symptoms. I have even restored the firmware 3 times, no luck. Can anyone help? Here you have some of the available fixes: Anyway, a white screen usually entails a defect in the actual LCD or corrosion on either the connectors of the LCD or even the connectors on the motherboard. Use an alcohol swab and clean all the connectors (1, 2, 3 and the pins on the mobo), then dry them off very well with a can of air. And other tips in video tutorials: No1 No2 No3

Video Tutorial: Unlocking 3G/3GS with Jailbreak using Ultrasn0w for iOS 5.1.1 / basband 05.16.05 (also works with iOS6 / 05.16.07)

This is the best way to unlock, as it preserves your GPS functionality!

3GS: In this method, even if you're stuck on 05.15.04(unlockable), we can upgrade to the iPad BB, 06.15.00, and downgrade again past 05.15.04 to 05.13.04, so that you can have an unlock, and preserve your GPS!

3G: If you have accidentally upgraded to 05.15.04, you can use this method. You can also upgrade to the latest 4.2.1 iOS using a custom IPSW, so that you don't upgrade your baseband, then upgrade to iPad BB and downgrade again to 05.13.04. Make sure you don't upgrade using an apple IPSW, it could upgrade your baseband to something you don't want. I don't show you how to make a NO_BB file, pwn DFU, then restore with it, but it's quite easy, refer to link below for that.

WARNING: CHECK YOUR MANUFACTURE DATE, IF IT'S NEWER THAN WEEK 28 OF YEAR 2011, DO NOT PROCEED. EVEN IF IT IS OLDER THAN THAT DATE, YOU COULD STILL RISK BRICKING YOUR PHONE!! DO THESE STEPS AT YOUR OWN RISK, THEY CAN BRICK YOUR PHONE IF SOMETHING GOES WRONG DURING THE BASEBAND UPDATE.

This method of unlocking your 3G and 3GS requires that you have not updated to iOS6 and updated your baseband to 3.00.00. If you have done that, you cannot downgrade the baseband. If you have saved your SHSH Blobs, you can downgrade your iOS, but your baseband is stuck for good.
